What is The Ashen Princess?
The Ashen Princess is a far future science fantasy webcomic, created as a complete rejection of the hatred, fascism, and white supremacy that is again rising in our world. It is a statement of unconditional queer love and power.
This is a galaxy where there is no longer an Earth, and humanity has evolved beyond anything we recognize. The planet Pyre, along with its Ash Moon, is the center of galactic civilization, and all Artificial Fae Gateways pass through it. The Old Empire is 1000 years gone, but its post-singularity AI still runs and ensures stability.
Into this world comes Kindle, a teenage trans woman escaping the Church of Purity, the dangerous cult she was raised in.
When does this comic update?
You can actually check this in the right sidebar, which will give you a release day if the comic is ready! If it says ‘Buffering’ however, I’m probably working on the comic right now, with a goal of updating once per week.
Unfortunately, until I reach the goal on my Patreon of making rent each month, commissions will get in the way of that schedule. u__u;
